The Collective's Eye
Inspiration.
Pairings to admire. Tables to recreate. Gatherings to remember.
The game is beautiful. So is everything around it.
The experience begins long before the first tile is drawn. Explore thoughtfully curated tablescapes, discover new looks, and trace the details back to their source.
Because inspiration is even better when you know where to find it.

Accessories
The Collector's Eye.
The best Mahjong accessories are the ones that feel considered. Curt Herr has a remarkable eye for curation, and the themed collections at Mahjong & Mocktails are proof. Each one tells a story through thoughtfully chosen pieces that belong together. Start with one beautiful thing and build slowly. A collection assembled with patience almost always feels more personal than one assembled in an afternoon.

“Setting a beautiful table is an act of care. It tells your guests that you thought about them before they arrived.”

The Table
Color as Intention.
The best tables rarely rely on perfect matches. We shared our admiration for this warm terracotta, cream, and dusty blue mat in The Edit, but seeing it paired with deep navy tiles reminds us why it works so well. One color leads the conversation. The others simply support it. That's often all a table needs to feel intentional.

Styling
The pieces that make a table memorable are rarely the obvious ones.
If this room looks familiar, it's because it was featured in our Journal article, How to Set a Mahjong Table That Feels Like an Event. But when we saw the space again, we noticed a detail we almost missed. The artwork displayed on the homeowner's smart TV echoes the colors and mood of the tablescape, quietly tying the entire room together. It's such a simple idea, but one that transforms the experience. These are the details your guests may never mention, yet they'll remember long after the last tile is put away.
